The Revelation crest is more than just a badge to put on our drums; it symbolizes everything we stand for. Here is what each piece of this crest stands for.

 

The Shield: This represents Psalms 28:7 that says "The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving." The shield badge is popular with many drum companies today; this is not our attempt to copy another company but rather show that we will trust in the Lord with everything we have in everything we do because He has picked us up when we were beaten down and places His shield before His children to protect them.

 

Crossed Swards: Swards play a big part in heraldic symbolism in everything from flags to crests. Crossed swards facing up would signify they are currently at war whereas swards facing down, as seen in our crest, signify the war is over. To us this signifies the love Christ has for us and how He portrayed that by coming down to earth and suffering the worst beating any man has ever seen, then dying for us to cover the price of our sin. Three days later he rose from the dead defeating death and defeating sin once and for all. The war against sin and death is over, Christ is victorious and because of this all who believe in Him now live in right standing with God as if we never even sinned.

 

Forward Facing Helmet: The helmet in our crest is very significant to what we believe and what we stand for. Open-visored or barred helmets, as seen in our crest, are typically reserved to the highest ranks of nobility and paired with the helmet facing forwards this typically meant royalty. For us, this ties into Revelation 1:8 that says “I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.”. This shows that Jesus is Lord of Lords, King of Kings and we dedicate this company and our lives to Him for His glory.
